The refresh bar
A killed boss gets a refresh bar that starts at 0 percent. At 100 percent the boss is back up.
| Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Time alone | 0 to 100 percent in 3 hours, for every boss, with nobody else on the server |
| Other raid kills | Add refresher XP to the bars of downed bosses |
| Floor | A boss is never back in under 10 minutes after its kill, however full its bar |
| Whose kills count | Anyone’s: any party, friend, alt or sim force. Nobody owns a boss’s bar |
| One boss on demand | None. The bar is the only way back |
Refresher XP
Refresher XP works like rested XP, but for raids. It is added to the bar, not taken as a share of what is left.
About two hours in, a bar is two thirds full from time alone. Two good kills take it to about nine tenths, a few minutes from done.
A kill gives base x reach x difficulty.
| Part | Rule |
|---|---|
| Base | One on-par kill adds 13 percent to a bar: about the 24 minutes a kill takes on a typical circuit. A group that keeps killing roughly doubles the clock |
| Reach | A kill helps bosses at or below its own level (table below) |
| Difficulty | The force the boss calls for, against the force that killed it (table below) |
| Downed boss, compared to the boss you killed | Reach |
|---|---|
| Higher level | None |
| Same level, to 2 levels below | Full |
| 3 to 9 levels below | Less the further below |
| 10 or more levels below | None |
A level 30 kill helps a level 25 boss a lot. A level 60 kill does nothing for a level 20 boss.
| Your force | Difficulty |
|---|---|
| The size the boss calls for | Full |
| Three parties on a one-party boss | One third |
| One party on a two-party boss | Double |
| Most a kill can give | Double |
How long a boss takes to come back
With a kill every 20 minutes at the same level:
| Who is killing | Back in about |
|---|---|
| Nobody | 3 hours |
| A level 20s player with a sim force sized to the boss | 1 hour 25 minutes |
| One party killing two-party bosses | 1 hour |
| Case | What happens |
|---|---|
| Anyone stands within party range of the spawn point or corpse | A full bar waits while that party loots or raises. After 10 minutes the boss comes back anyway. A party that leaves ends the wait |
| A server restart | The bars are kept. A boss already down with no bar starts one from when the game recorded it down, so it never waits out an old 36 to 60 hour respawn |
| Raid bosses that quests or instances spawn (for example Lilith, Anakim and Sailren), and grand bosses | Keep their normal respawn timers |
Raid Cams and the Raid Cooldowns view
- Open it from Home on the dashboard, or with
.dashboard raids. - The button reads Raid List, or Raid Cams on a world that offers the raid camera, where each row also has a Cam button.
| Tab | Shows |
|---|---|
| Recommended (opens first) | Only the raids your whole group can fight: nobody turned to stone, nobody earning nothing, and enough strength, or how many groups like yours it takes |
| Cooldowns | Every raid boss that is down, with its refresh bar as the same percent the Raid Plan shows. 0 is just killed, 100 is back |
| All | Every raid, in level bands |
- Rows on Recommended and All read up, fighting now, down and coming back, or unknown. How far along a downed raid is lives on Cooldowns.
- Recommended groups raids by circuit, and a line at the top gives three counts: how many you can take, how many are a stretch (expect deaths) and how many need more groups.
- Recommended lists raids one group like yours can take first, then the ones marked “Needs 3 parties”. Under a raid that is up: “Kill it: +6% to X, +2% to Y”, what it adds to the bars of raids that are down, for your party’s size.
- A greyed raid is left out of Recommended and counted: “2 more fit your level but are left out”. All still shows it.
- When nothing fits, Recommended says why (members too far apart in level, nothing in your raid range, group too weak, nothing up) and points you at All.
